1 Package Yellow Cake Mix
1 Can Cherry Pie Filing
1 Can Crushed Pineapple
2 Cups shredded coconut
1 Small package of nuts such as pecans or walnuts (optional)
1/2 Cup Butter
In a 13x9 pan, pour and mix cans of cherry pie filing and undrained pineapple. Layer yellow cake mix on top, then coconut, then nuts. Melt butter and drizzle on top. Put in oven at 350 for 25-30 min, or until coconut is golden brown. Can be served warm with vanilla ice cream.
